Search Oklahoma business names using the corporation search webpage to verify whether a name is available before registering a business in the state. Entities are required to choose a name that isn’t taken and conforms with state requirements. The search webpage can also be used to search existing entities by filing number, entity type, and agent/owner’s name.

Business Entity Search
1. Go to the Oklahoma Corporation Search Webpage
2. Advanced Search Options
To refine search search results, click Advanced Search and select from the available options. For business name verification, Name Availability or Search Active can be selected.
3. Perform Business Name Search
To perform a search, enter the business name in the Entity Name field, click the Cloudfare verification button (see image), and click Search.
4. View Search Results
The search results will appear below the search bar, displaying the Filing Number and Name of each matching entity. Clicking on a Filing Number will open a summary of the entity’s information in a new window.
5. Entity Summary Information
Before viewing the information summary, the user must input their name and email on the Contact Information page, complete the verification (see image), and click Continue (see image).
The Entity Summary Information page will display the following information:
- Entity Name
- Filing Number
- Name Type
- Status
- Corporation Type
- Jurisdiction
- Formation Date
- Registered Agent Information:
- Name
- Effective Date
- Address
